Duties include mailing tax bills to homeowners and financial institutes, collecting the amount of the tax bill, providing receipts to customers, banks and the county. Payment must be the exact amount or the payment will be returned. The office hours will be at the top of each tax bill.   The penalties are listed on each tax bill.
